Elisabeth and Shari love quizzes! We also think they're sometimes helpful, and as we move along in this exploration, we'll list the quizzes that we use here
(and maybe our results, depending on how embarrassing they seem).
- BeliefNet's Belief-O-Matic is a fun place to start exploring faith and the questions various faiths try to answer. Disturbingly, the few times that I've taken it, my top result has been "Neo-Pagan--100%," which should come as no surprise to those who disapprove. It's followed closely by "Unitarian Universalism," but I have to wonder what's going on here. The options allow a lot more subtlety for theist positions generally, and I think my answers get a bit muddled when I try to work against the rather stark option usually left to the compassionate atheist. -SBQ

Well, this is a very impressive blogsite already. Keep up the good writing! I took the funky veg-o-matic test and came up with virtually the same numbers as Elisabeth did. I guess we must be related.
For the record:
Neo-Pagan (100%)
Unitarian Universalism (97%)
New Age (87%)
Liberal Quakers (85%)
Secular Humanism (84%)
I suspect I must have avowed some love of nature, which is not incorrect, but I'm uncomfortable with New-Pagan and New Age here. That's probably because I don't know anything about that they mean. I shall have to find out!
